Created in 1966, Domaines de Vinsmoselle is nowadays grouping together the wine cellars Caves de Greiveldange, Grevenmacher, Remerschen, Stadbredimus, Wellenstein and the new elaboration centre of cremant (sparkling wine) in Wormeldange.
With a vineyards surface of more than 800 hectares and a part covering about two thirds of
the national wine production, Domaines de Vinsmoselle is by far the most important wine
and cremant producer in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and, regarding the variety of the
associated vineyards and the multitude of cultural commitments, the recognized ambassador
of the whole Luxembourg Moselle region.
The Château of Stadtbredimus, a witness to the troubled history of this region, is a mansion formerly occupied by Luxembourg's national poet Edmond de la Fontaine, also known as Dicks. Today it is the head office of Domaines de Vinsmoselle.
Noblesse oblige.
