Since 1892, Hôtel Restaurant Lamy has embodied family hospitality in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes. Ideally located near the Vennbahn cycling trail and the Éislek Trail hiking paths, it is a perfect stop for nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
At the restaurant, Lamy offers three distinct atmospheres, all accessible from a single menu, giving each guest the choice of the experience they wish to enjoy:
• The Bistronomic Restaurant: chic and elegant, ideal for a refined dinner or a special occasion.
• The Irish Pub: friendly and unconventional, perfect for savoring a wood-fired pizza or a local specialty.
• The Chalet: a cozy, winter-themed setting where fondues, raclettes, and other cheese delights are served.
In the kitchen, Chef Raphaël Berling, originally from Alsace, trained under Jean-Paul Bosset, a former Michelin-starred chef.
As a member of the Académie culinaire de France, which brings together fewer than 3,000 chefs worldwide, he shares his philosophy: “Bring pleasure to give pleasure,” and is committed to highlighting local and seasonal products to offer cuisine that is both authentic and generous.
As part of our Chef of the Month project, the Chef invites you to savor his creation: pork belly confit for 72 hours at low temperature, blackberry-infused brown jus, smoked confit garlic, braised endive, and potato cake with semi-salted butter, paired with our Pinot Noir Charta Schengen Prestige.
This typically Pinot Noir wine reveals aromas of blackberry, wild berries, and leather, with a subtle hint of vanilla. Its structure is soft and round, with fine tannins that make it pleasant and balanced on the palate. Thanks to its aging, this wine has developed depth and perfect harmony, making it an exquisite and easy-to-enjoy pairing with the confit pork belly.
